2 weeks today

Can this little beauty seriously get any sweeter….

So much….

Where to start!

I had my baby… Beautiful Natalie Pearl was born on 6.16.08 at 5.07p and was 6lbs. 2oz. and 19-1/2″ long.  It was a good labor as I was under the epi for most of it- but it was longer then we expected because I wouldn’t dilate.  Eventually I took a nap and dilated 7cm in 2 hours!  Well, that got things moving pretty quick.  I pushed for only about 5-7 minutes, we were done and our little red haired blue eyed beauty had arrived.

Craig and my nurse took quite a few pictures and I must say, my sweet man did such a swell job.  He’s amazing.  Anyway, here’s our slide show of Natalie’s birth (nothing inappropriate).  It will also give clients a great perspective on how a birthing session would flow.  It’s quite amazing, and filled with many emotions.  I highly recommend this service for anyone who wants to be able to remember these special first moments of bonding between your child and yourselves as new (or renewed!) parents.  Be sure to ask about details if you’re interested.

And here are some pictures of Little Miss at the hostpital.

And some from when we arrived home….

Next…

A few weeks ago I took some pictures of my great friend Stef and her adorable kids.  We had a ton of fun, as we normally do, and look how cute Aeris dressed herself!

(pics to come - so sorry)

Hot Dads of Denver Photography 2009 Calendar Contest!!

Many of you know that I am the founder/president of an organization (held close to my heart) called Operation: Love Reunited. We are a world-wide network of photographers that provide charitable, morale boosting sessions for our military families facing and in the middle of a deployment. We are working very hard towards becoming a nationally recognized 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization, but since we work on donations alone, funds are limited. So, in honor of Father’s Day, Gina Geigley (vice-president) & I are putting together a contest of “Hot Dads” that will be made into a calendar! The proceeds from the calendar sales will directly and fully support OpLove and our volunteer photographers!!

Here’s the timeline:

I was telling my BFF Catie today about how Hunter is getting this little dimple… and she commented on how cute he gets as he gets older… so I wanted to show her this picture of him when he was I think about 3 months old.  I had to dig it up off our OOOLLD family blog, but look here he is!

My little red headed monster.  :o)
